(Oscar Wilde dixit)
Well, yesterday I resisted, but today I did not. I found out that I could get a nice Nokia Bluetooth headset as a free bonus, and that was just too good.
So I had to do it.
I’ve got a Nokia N-Gage QD + Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory + Nokia Bluetooth headset + Nokia Carrying bag + Carrying Strap. Yes, I’m guilty; shame on me. But it’s sooooo cute… my preciousssssssss…
Now there’s only one thing that I can do (besides ding-a-ding-dang-my-dang-a-long-ling-long). Getting a 256Mb MMC and a Bluetooth GPS module xD
I fell in the trap. Went to Media Markt to take a look at something completely unrelated, and finished with 4 new DVDs in mi hands. At 5.00€ each they were a steal… (keep telling that to yourself, buddy). They are:
- 21 Grams
- Duel
- Cidade de Deus
- Delicatessen
That makes quite a DVD week, with some other DVDs I got as gifts (and a delayed one I’m looking forward to!)
Fortunately I fleed before I inadvertedly bought a Nokia NGage QD that was on sale, so I’m safe… For now.
Well, well… I guess it’s over for this year. And I’m glad, because I’m REALLY tired after two days of shopping, cleaning, preparing and partying. Part two was really nice too, a lot of nice food and good laughs, and some really nice presents. Sweet. :) Played some Trivial Pursuit (lost both games, dang) and had a lot of fun. Thank you, really :)
However, some notes for next time:
- Daikiris require a lot LESS lemon juice. Man, were those strong or what? (Sorry)
- Lionel Ritchie didn’t sing Purple Rain, dammit!
- Buy less wine and liquors. Now it’s going to be difficult to finish it all (yummy xD).
Well… till next year! Now, part three; buy myself a few self-presents.
I had quite a long post about it but I’ve decided against it on second thought, I don’t know why.
Let’s just say it was nice and today there will be another one. Hope everybody has at least as much fun :)
April 15th, Guadalajara. It’s cold, but fortunately it doesn’t rain. It’s been more than three years and I’ve really been looking forward to it, since I missed the ones in Madrid in the last tour. Expectations are somewhat low, though… I don’t like the last record all that much and I don’t know many of the new songs. The coldness doesn’t help, either; it’s going to be a long night.
But then it begins…

It’s all there. Once again.

After almost 2 hours and a half, it’s over. Time for farewell and goodbye.

It is done. Not been the best of all his concerts that I’ve been to at all, though; I’m still not very fond of the last album’s songs, and there’s been a half an hour section of the concert that really didn’t come up to expectations because it was too slow. But for the rest of it… it was all there. There’s still many songs, many words, many pieces that bring shivers down my spine… for real. We’re freezing, but I get out of the place feeling warm on the inside. I don’t care if everybody else doesn’t like it. He’s still makes me feel. And that’s enough for me.
Not bad for a birthday night… ;)

I’m gonna have to build me some of these. Really.
