I’ve never found the “King Kong” story too interesting, and the movies about it… well, I never really felt too excited about them.
However, Peter Jackson’s King Kong trailer is out, and I must say it looks really, really good. I pity Jackson somehow, he must be under quite a lot of pressure, since he’s expected to make any movie into an awesome movie after all the success of the Lord of The Rings trilogy (which in my opinion is the work of a genius).
I’m really looking forward to watch this one. On the other hand, the sooner he gets it released, the sooner he begins work in his next movie and the sooner The Hobbit will be made… which I am really, really waiting for. My Preciouss…
Just when you thought that tuning-mania couldn’t get any more ridiculous.
Turn your Panda into a Viper. Or something.

I know, I know, I shouldn’t be falling for this kind of crap, but I can’t help finding this guy so funny. Clarisa, you should be blogging this, you’d probably have a second megahit (HIGH WARNING: absoultely over-the-top 2.6Mb+, webbrowser-hangin’ comments page!!!!)
Anyway, what I wanted to blog is this fantastic website that properly links all the best neng videos without any javascript or flash nonsense (take care about the popups, though). The best I’ve found already, hands down. Enjoy. (Note: The first ones are at the bottom; begin there.)
(Man, this is another kind of frontal-lobe-drilling. A couple of nights ago I couldn’t sleep as this crap was haunting me all the time)
Update: If you just have to watch one of the videos, watch this one. Good night, amiguitos del progressive xD
I love optical effects, and just discovered this awesome site.
I specially like this effect in particular. It’s pretty amazing!
Finally I figured out WTF was happening with the dynamic DNS that has brought the site down the whole day. Stupid (S.T.U.P.I.D.) Telefonica Data and their beloved proxy-cache.
The DNS was being updated, but since the dynamic DNS manager takes the IP from the DNS change requesting machine, it was taking the proxy’s and not mine. Everything was working fine until today, but they must have changed something (better for the customer, of course) and broke my setup.
It’s fixed now, hopefully. I’ve had to find an alternate way to update the DNS… I hope they don’t “fix” anything else.

I feel completely, absolutely related

(I love Forges, btw)
Last night I decided to give “The Pillars of Earth” a second chance. The first time I didn’t get past page 200 or so… I don’t remember why I left it, but I prefer to begin all over again since I don’t remember all characters and stuff.
Also, today I picked up two books I’ve been looking forward to read for quite some time (on recommendation from a friend ;) ). They are Neal Stephenson’s “Criptonomicon” (part I, The Enigma Code) and “The Diamond Age : Or, a Young Lady’s Illustrated Primer”. So it seems that I have my summer fix of sci-fi almost covered. I hope I like them better than “Neuromancer”, because I had high hopes in that one and I found it slow and too convoluted… maybe I wasn’t in the mood, so I’ll give it another chance some day.
(At least until Harry Potter’s last installement arrives!)
Good thing there’s jackalopes around…

You know what I mean :)
From time to time, a stupid song gets into my head and I can’t help but to hear it over, and over, and over again. And when I don’t, I hum or whistle it all the time. Man, I feel like this song is drilling through my head.

Sometimes you see it coming. And I did. Things have been happening around me for some time now… little details and nuances… and I knew I would again end up one day feeling… weird. Unrelated. Misunderstood. Unaccepted. Disregarded. In some aspects, alone. Just like I’ve felt many times before…
